Over the years we have been creating a beautful library of Children’s christmas books
Since the first Christmas I was pregnant with the oldest rascal every year I would add to a little children’s Christmas book collection.
We now have a wonderful collection of some beautiful books, some are gifted, others the rascals have chosen and even some originals that I was read as a child.

A story all about how a little girl saves Christmas and helps Father Christmas delivery all the presents.
The Snowman
Such a classic Christmas book and another one from my childhood about the adventures of a boy and the snowman he built that comes alive.

From the author of The Snowman this book follows Father Christmas in a panic realising its Christmas Eve when he is still on his Summer holiday.

Both rascals find this book hilarious. Santa accidentally shaves off his beard and the elves use random objects to try and replace it.

This book is so beautiful, full of stunning illustrations and the story of different animals and scenes within the forest.
One Snowy Night
This book is about a park keeper who lets the animals pf the park take shelter in his home on a very cold winters evening. So adorable.
The Snow Dragon
When I first read this book it made me cry. So a touching book about a orphan alone in a orphanage on Christmas when the Snow Dragon comes to save her.
Pick a Pine Tree
All about a family picking a tree and transforming it into a Christmas tree together.
The Christmas Book Crate
We keep all of our Christmas books in a crate under the Christmas tree and each evening throughout December the rascals are allowed to choose one.
Come January I pack them away with the Christmas decorations to keep them special.
